What happens when you put two CPA's who are paid to run numbers all day long together?
You get a married couple that talks shop all.day.long.
In order to harness our constant emails/chats/texts/conversations back and forth and keep it all in one place, we're starting a blog. A simple little place where we can plot a visual and return to look back on our progress.
So who are we?
We are B (he) and D (she). Together we have a C and hopefully A+++ later on. Did you get all that?
We met in college, pursued degrees (four actually) in accounting and finance, managed to stay together while taking the CPA and simultaneously working in public accounting AND finishing our graduate degrees (we don't recommend that plan of action to anyone). Got married, traveled, worked and are the very proud parents to a little girl.
Our goals are:
Zero debt
Emergency savings
Fully Funded Roths
Generously Funded 401ks
College Savings for C (and more)
Summer and Winter Homes
Work with kids (Foster/adoption)
Early Retirement
All of this with at least 2 mandatory vacations a year so we don't burn out or work away C's childhood.
